The Archbishop of Canterbury's visit to the Diocese of Norwich

Wed 7 Nov, 3.52pm

Delicious lunch at @StStephensNR café, which serves people who are poor, lonely, depressed or isolated in some way. It was deeply moving to hear about how they have experienced healing and community here

About the visit

The Archbishop of Canterbury visited the Diocese of Norwich from Wednesday 7 – Friday 9 November 2018.

We are just a few days away from the 100th anniversary of the ending of WW1, and this, combined with Archbishop Justin’s passion for reconciliation, contributed strongly to the shaping of the programme.

Public events

  • The programme
  • Service at the Roman Catholic Cathedral
  • ‘Re-Imagining Britain’ at Revelation Resource Centre
  • ‘Reflections on Reconciliation’ at Norwich Cathedral
  • Caister Lifeboat Station
  • Fish & chips at Great Yarmouth Minster
