At the Dean’s Breakfast this morning, Archbishop Justin spoke of his admiration for the Rt Revd Graham James, the Bishop of Norwich. At a gathering of people from the charity and business sectors, Archbishop Justin spoke on a wide-ranging number of topics from politics to the Anglican Communion and from Brexit to “being Justin”. He spoke with particular warmth of Bishop Graham, who will be retiring at the end of this month.
“Bishop Graham is one of the greatest bishops since the Second World War. I can’t begin to describe how difficult it is to lead a diocese. And to actually see numbers increasing – espcially in a rural diocese – is an extraordinary achievement. My admiration for him is endless.”
